Meet Lindsey
I'm native to the Hudson Valley, with roots in the area extending back to the 1600s. I bring my experience as a successful creative entrepreneur, organic farmer, and community leader to my passion for real estate.
After earning a degree in Community Food Systems in 2006 from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, I spent 12 years loving life on the west coast and owning an organic farm. I returned to Ulster County in 2016 to continue building my life around dear family who maintain homes in Kerhonkson, Accord, Olivebridge & Kingston. I bought a small, beautiful farmhouse in Accord where I’m now raising two young children with my partner! It’s been amazing to watch the Upstate area transform over the past decade, with its accompanying emphasis on 'farm to table’ food systems, forward-thinking architectural design and appreciation of the great outdoors.
I grew up hiking, swimming, skiing and horseback riding; immersed in the myriad wonders offered by the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountains. Now, I cherish sharing this magic daily with family, friends and clients.
Always part of the community, I've served on the board of the Rondout Valley Growers Association, the Town of Rochester Historic Preservation Commission, and the Friends of Historic Rochester, along with participating in numerous regional maker's markets as the founder of former luxury soap company, Heart & Arrow Handcrafted. I studied Floral Design at New York Botanical Gardens and hold two certificates in Permaculture Design.
My extensive knowledge of the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountains, combined with a detail-oriented work ethic and background in sustainable development, blends with the top-level professionalism of Nutshell Realty to uniquely serve my clients' real estate needs.
