Founded in 178, Marlboro is a historic farming community located along the west bank the Hudson River approximately 60 mile north of NYC. Known for its farming, particularly apples, Marlboro has rolling farmland, known as the Lattintown Valley, and beautiful views of the Hudson River. Because of its close proximity to Newburg, New Paltz and Poughkeepsie, residents have easy access to restaurants and shopping. Enjoy boating and kayaking on the Hudson or go hiking and mountain biking in the Minnewaska State Park or Mohonk Preserve. The town has a quaint village area that provides many conveniences. Metro North trains, Stewart International Airport and Trailways Bus Terminal all provide quick access to the New York metro area.
